Make an Impact in Bossier Parish

At Bossier Council on Aging, we know the power of community. When neighbors step up to care for one another, great things happen—meals are delivered, rides are given, homes are safer, and caregivers feel seen and supported. Whether you choose to donate, volunteer, or offer in-kind support, your contribution directly helps Bossier Parish seniors live with dignity and independence.

Why Your Donation Matters

We believe every senior deserves to age with dignity, care, and connection—regardless of income, ability, or circumstance. But we can’t do it without your support. Your donation ensures that our most vulnerable neighbors receive meals, transportation, home-based help, and caregiver support they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.

By donating, you are:

Keeping meal programs running for homebound and site-based clients

Providing rides to medical appointments and grocery stores

Supporting caregivers with respite care and essential supplies

Helping us maintain senior centers that offer safety, community, and activity

Become a Volunteer

Your time is one of the most valuable gifts you can offer. Volunteers are essential to the heart of what we do—delivering meals, staffing events, helping with center activities, and making a real difference in the lives of Bossier Parish seniors.

We believe in the power of community to make a difference.

As a volunteer, you can:

  • Help serve meals or run activities at one of our senior centers
  • Donate your time for drives—like fan and blanket collection
  • Join special event and fundraising efforts
  • Offer administrative help to keep us organized and running smoothly

We welcome individuals, students, groups, churches, and businesses to get involved.
